The book has a very personal feel to it because Amy Elizabeth is addressing the reader. She talks about “kids like us” as if we are part of a group and she is your friend. It was very well set out, just like a story book. It had beautiful pencil illustrations that children could relate to. It was a nice size, not too daunting; the sort of book I think a child would be happy to read together with an adult. All in all I think this would be a very valuable resource for any psychotherapist, counsellor or social worker working with children to help them explain the process of play therapy.’

– Counselling Children and Young People
