Buz Loveday

Buz Loveday is Lead Trainer at Dementia Trainers (www.dementiatrainers.co.uk). Since 1991, she has trained thousands of staff and managers in a range of organisations, including statutory, voluntary and private sector care homes, home care services, day centres, housing schemes, hospitals, social services departments, carers’ groups and other support services. Buz runs a number of accredited training courses, including programmes for dementia care leaders, and writes as a subject matter expert for SCIE (the Social Care Institute for Excellence). Between 2005 and 2007, she delivered a nationwide programme of training on dementia to inspectors from the Commission for Social Care Inspection (now the Care Quality Commission). Buz lives in London, UK.
