This week I was really impressed with this protest against wage inequality in Iceland. As women make about 18% less than their male counterparts, those protesting left work at 2:38pm (an 18% shorter work day). A peaceful protest with a powerful message.

As someone who hails from Essex I was amazed to see this definition actually made it into the dictionary in the first place. Believe it or not, Essex girls are not all about big hair, white heels and handbags…we’re actually quite an intelligent bunch.
