Brown paper packages tied up with string…
Here at Bookends, we can’t wait for Christmas and we’ve been busy compiling our lists to Santa. Of course, if he brought everything we’ve got our eye on he’d have no room on his sleigh for all of your presents – so we’ve cherry picked the gifts we’d really like to see under the tree this year…
‘I’m wishing for a Roberts Revival Radio in Burgundy. I’ve recently moved into a new flat and I’d love to update my old tired-looking radio with one of these beauties, which will brighten up the kitchen. The radio is my best friend in the morning, it wakes me up and gets me going so it’s the perfect present (hint hint).’ Ella
‘I’m after some Active in Style loud and proud sport leggings this year. You might think it’s because I’ve always got exercise on the brain. It’s not. It’s because, on the occasions that I do exercise, I have discovered that this is the comfiest item of clothing and they stretch to accommodate a belly full of roast potatoes. So yes, I want a present that will allow me to eat lots in style.’ Abbie
‘I’m hoping for a Clarisonic pedi – last year I was lucky enough to receive the Clarisonic facial system and it’s transformed my evening cleanse routine! I’ve had most beauty gadgets over the year, with many of them never even coming out of their boxes, but I can honestly say this is brilliant and I’ve used it so much. Now I’d like my feet to be equally pampered before next summer…’ Lucy
‘I am hoping against hope that some generous soul (ahem, Mum…) might gift me with a coffee machine this Christmas. It’s one of those things that I constantly long for but can never quite justify buying for myself, so I’ve been dropping some serious hints. This Nespresso Inissia in cream would do nicely…’ Naomi
‘In an ideal world, I’d have a puppy waiting for me under the tree – perhaps a pug with a big red bow around its neck, gazing at me with big brown eyes. But as my chimney is unlikely to accommodate a pooch, I’d be over the moon to receive a spice rack (seriously), some yoga leggings (I always ask Santa for sports-wear as a psychological experiment) and there’s a grey knitted bobble hat from Oliver Bonas which I’ve had my eye on for a while.’ Emily
